iPhone, iPad, iPod touch setup

  1. Tap your "Settings" icon, and then "Mail, Contacts, Calendars"
  2. Below "Accounts" tap "Add Account..."
  3. You'll see the "Add Account..." screen. Tap "Other"
  4. You'll see the "Other" screen. Tap "Add Mail Account"
  5. You'll see the "New Account" screen. Enter the information requested and tap Next in the top right corner.
    - Your "Name" is the name as it will appear in your "From" address when you send email
    - Find your "Address" (full email address) and "Password" in your account information
    - The "Description" may be anything you wish, to identify the account in the account list
  6. On the next "New Account" screen, tap IMAP to keep your mail in sync with the server. (POP3 settings are similar)
  7. Scroll down to set the Incoming Mail Server.
    - Host Name:
    - User Name: your full email address
    - Password: your email password
  8. Scroll down to set the Outgoing Mail Server.
    - Host Name:
    - User Name: your full email address
    - Password: your email password
  9. Tap "Next" and wait while the account information is checked. If you are given an error message, go back to check that the email address and password is correct.
  10. Turn "ON" Mail. If you wish to have notes from your phone saved in an IMAP folder on the mail server, also turn "ON" Notes (we recommend you do this to backup your notes, but prior notes will remain locally on the device only).
  11. Tap "Save" in the top right corner.
  12. You are now back at "Mail, Contacts, Calendars." Tap the account you just created from the list (it is listed by the "Description" you entered in step 5, above).
  13. Tap "Account" and then scroll down and tap "SMTP". Tap the Primary Server "". Your Host Name, User Name, and Password are already entered. Scroll down and change:
    - Use SSL to "ON"
    - Leave "Authentication" set to "Password"
    - Server Port to "465"
  14. Tap "Done" at the top right of your screen. Tap "Account" at the top left of the next screen.
  15. Scroll down to the bottom of the Account screen and tap "Advanced"
  16. Here you may customize the folders used for Drafts, Sent, and Deleted. For IMAP set up compatible with webmail folders, we recommend selecting the following, choosing the folders "On the server":
    - Drafts Mailbox: Drafts
    - Sent Mailbox: Sent
    - Deleted Mailbox: Trash
    You may also set how long before items in the Deleted Mailbox are deleted. Note that our server deletes mail from "Trash" after 30 days, but you may set a shorter time on the phone or your mail program if you prefer.
  17. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and update the Incoming Settings.
    - Set "Use SSL" to "ON"
    - Leave "Authentication" set to "Password"
    - Leave "IMAP Path Prefix" set to "/"
    - Set "Server Port" to "993"
  18. Tap "Account" at the top right and then "Done" at the top right. The settings will be verified. If the verification fails please check your settings.
  19. You are done, tap the bottom below the screen to return to your application icons.
